Yeats
William Butler Yeats (13 June 1865 28 January 1939) was an Irish poet and one
of the foremost figures of 20th-century literature. A pillar of both the Irish
and British literary establishments, he helped to found the Abbey Theatre, and
in his later years served as a Senator of the Irish Free State for two terms.
Yeats was a driving force behind the Irish Literary Revival. His earliest
volume of verse was published in 1889. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in
Literature.

original Dilliwallah, W.D. Mathur,
better known as Bobby, was born and brought up in Chira Khana (now called Har
Dayal Street), near Nai Sarak in Old Delhi. He did his post-graduation in
Economics from Hindu College, Delhi. He retired as Bureau Chief, The Indian Express, New Delhi, where he
worked for twenty-five years. He was a witness and a reporter during the
Emergency in 1975, and subsequent emergence and fall of the Janata Party
regime. He was president of the Press
Club of India and a member of the Central Press Accreditation Committee,
Government of India, for two terms.

Meyer
Dr. Werner Meyer, a distinguished archaeologist, holds the position of Professor Emeritus of Medieval Studies at the University of Basel, Switzerland. He has been the foremost authority on the archaeology of medieval fortifications in Switzerland since the 1960s. Dr. Meyer has an extensive publication record in the fields of cultural history and Middle Ages archaeology. He has traveled on assignment to more than 40 countries in five continents, and his writing has been published by Harpers Magazine, The Financial Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, Prospect, and Businessweek. He has also worked as a television journalist at ABC News, Al Jazeera English, and CBS News, and is currently a correspondent for Bloomberg TV, based in New York.

Debotri Dhar was educated in India, the United Kingdom and the United States. Her first novel, penned at eighteen, was reviewed by several Indian newspapers and journals. Her short stories have since appeared in literary magazines, journals and anthologies in India, UK, USA, Singapore, Canada, and elsewhere. Her most recent work of fiction is a collection of short stories. Delightfully fond of both fact and fiction, Debotri juggles creative writing with her day job as an academic. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Delhi University, a Master's degree in Women's Studies, with distinction, from the University of Oxford, UK, and a Ph.D. in Women's and Gender Studies from Rutgers University, USA. She previously taught at Rutgers University and held a research affiliation with Boston University, was a visiting faculty member at the College of Wooster, Ohio, and is currently a Visiting Fellow and Lecturer at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. "The Courtesans of Karim Street" is her second novel
